No, they can work independently, but connecting to the Marshall Bluetooth App (App Store, Google Play) offers access to extra features, and managing updates that keep your product up to date with our latest software.
DO I NEED AN APP TO USE THESE HEADPHONES?
You can connect two devices at once to these headphones.
HOW MANY DEVICES CAN BE PAIRED AT THE SAME TIME
This is a sensor inside each earbud detecting when they are inside the ear. This means they will automatically pause and restart as you use them.
WHAT IS 'EAR DETECT'?
Yes, the long-press feature of both earbuds can be customised to toggle between different EQ settings, and you can customise this in the Marshall Bluetooth app.
CAN MOTIF II A.N.C.'S EQUALISER (EQ) SETTINGS BE CHANGED WITH TOUCH CONTROLS LIKE MONITOR II A.N.C.?
Active Noise Cancellation is the technology that drowns out unwanted sounds when you are listening to your music. These headphones utilise four microphones to constantly measure the surrounding noise and automatically adjust the level of noise cancellation you need to focus.
WHAT IS ACTIVE NOISE CANCELLING (A.N.C.)?
Transparency mode allows you to be more aware of the outside world, meaning if you’re having a conversation or are walking along busy roads, you’ll be able to keep track.
